Mastering The Art of Black and White Photography

Modern black and white photography at its best is art, and many photographers regard it as the purest form of photography.

The key to successful black and white photography is learning to see the world in monochrome and knowing that not all subjects are suitable for black and white. The successful black and photographer recognizes this and searches out subject matter that looks better in black and white.

Hillcrest has a special presentation planned for this Monday's meeting. Ray Yaros is a familiar name for many of our attendees. He is a noted photographer from Lebanon, NJ, who is known for his finely crafted large format black and white photographs. Ray will present on black and white photography on Monday, March 27, 2017, at the Pilgrim Presbyterian Church in Phillipsburg at 7:30 PM.
